So guess what!  Only four more weeks of school.  HUGE relief floods my soul everytime I think about it.

When break comes what would I like to do with a little free time?

1) eat tacos in Scotland...

2) get over the pain and rage I still feel toward a certain D. Stidham whenever I hear the number 7112...

3) watch the second season of Alias

4) make a bijillion dollars by working mad hours at Carrabba's

5) Have more times of prayer and worship with my friends like we've been doing

What would YOU do with some free time if you had it??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Hear ye, Hear ye...

Well, today is announcement day....ready?

Announcement #1 - IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah baby! That's right, I'm 25 years old. I'm thankful to be getting older and smarter. I woke up today to answer my cell phone and on the other end I heard my gorgeous little 4-yr old niece, Ava Jane, and my rambunctious 2-yr old nephew Evon singing Happy Birthday To You. I don't think I could've thought of a better way to start my day.

Announcement #2 - I bought a mac yesterday. In fact, I'm xangaing right now from it. I feel as though I have joined a HUGE family here at FIRE. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a MAC Cell Group form.

Alright, that's all folks I'm signing off for now. I gotta get busy. School starts again on Monday. My spring break has been completely unproductive homework-wise, but it's been great to sleep in every day (with the exception of roommate breakfast day).

Jesus Among Other Gods The Absolute Claims Of The Christian Message

Well, it's been a good long while since I've updated my site.  My finals are over...In fact Christmas is over.  And come to think of it 2005 is over.  As they say in my part of wisconsin, "Uff Da!" (Translation:  sheesh!  Golly gee whiz!  Doh!  Yikes! etc...)

Okay, on to a serious post:

Here's food for thought.  Ravi Zacharias wrote a book called "Jesus Among Other Gods."  In it, he talks about visiting a place where they made the world's most beautiful Indain wedding saris.  While he expected to find a warehouse filled with machinary, instead he found father and son teams weaving the intricate, beautiful pieces together.  The father sat perched above the son and nodded signaling to his son to shift the spindles of gold and silver thread.  Ravi Zacharias put it this way, "The son had the easy task - just move at the father's nod.  All along, the father had the design in his mind & brought the right threads together." This last year has been me seeing the threads of people's lives woven together into supernatural patterns that could only be created in the mind of God.  I'm so thankful that the threads have woven for Kim & Justin to get to Scotland.  I'm glad Christy made it to Kansas City where she knows beyond a shadow of a doubt, God will meet her there.  I'm thankful I was around to see Mary "jump."  And thankful yet again that Janine's dreams are coming true.  I'm so proud to have faithful friends and so thankful to have a faithful God who is the Ultimate Designer.  Write on, Great Poet of our lives!
